Do you ever wonder about the people for whom buildings on TWU campuses are named?
Okay, this is an easy one.
Many of you knew — or knew of — Mary Evelyn Blagg-Huey, TWU's first female president, who passed away June 27, 2017. One of her primary goals as president was providing a new library for students and faculty. The building, completed in January 1986 on the old “dorm row” site, was named in her honor.
Read more about Dr. Huey in the university's tribute to her.
