In celebration of the university’s 125th anniversary, TWU Student Life will release Degrees of Flavor, a book combining institutional history with a curated collection of university-connected recipes. The commemorative volume is currently available for purchase, with physical copies scheduled for delivery this October.

From the breezy slopes of Blue Serge Hill to today’s cutting-edge campuses, 125 years of history can be measured in many ways—in groundbreaking firsts, transformative leaders and alumni and generational leaps forward. But it can also be tasted.

Degrees of Flavor invites readers into the heart of the Texas Woman’s University story through the very meals that sustained, celebrated, and brought its community together. Drawn from university archives, its world-renowned cookbook collection and recent submissions from alumni, faculty and staff, this tour through time pairs cherished recipes with the vibrant history behind them.
