School of Tech returns in May

IT Solutions announces the return of School of Tech this May. This year’s training sessions will be hosted on Zoom and are open to all employees of the university. Check out the full course catalog to learn more and register for sessions.

A total of 24 topics will be offered over three weeks. Most are scheduled for one hour, with time reserved afterward for questions and practice. IT Solutions is collaborating with the Center for Faculty Excellence, the Center for Research Design & Analysis, the TWU Library, and the MY1CV Program to offer special sessions of interest to instructors and graduate students.

School of Tech is bringing back some of the classics (Productivity Tips & Tricks; SQL Reports: Data Access and Use Cases; Create Beautiful, Powerful Presentations; etc.) and has redesigned some courses, such as PDFs: Edit, Sign & Create Forms and Google Suite Advanced. A number of new courses also have been added:

  • Best Practices in Accessible Design
  • Business Process Mapping
  • Collaborate with Office 365
  • Connecting Remotely: Connection and Storage Best Practices
  • Intro to Data Director for Workflow with Google Forms
  • RingCentral Sneak Peek
  • Working Remotely 2.0: Lessons Learned

In addition to earning a certificate for all sessions you attend, you also can earn a Certificate of Technical Literacy
