Amanda Zerangue (library) has been selected as an OER Research Fellow with the Open Education Group.

The OER initiative promotes the use of digital resources for classes, which relieves students of the financial burden of buying textbooks.

As an OER Research Fellow, Zerangue will participate in the Open Education Conference in November and will write at least one research paper that addresses issues related to the cost, efficacy, use and/or perceptions of OER or Open Pedagogy.
