Texas Woman's has created strategies and success measures to increase student, faculty and staff opportunities for global awareness, engagement, and understanding.

Strategies

• Provide opportunities for Going Global without Going Abroad
• Increase the awareness of existing global efforts and opportunities
• Create ongoing education opportunities for students, faculty and staff to improve their global understanding
• Establish a mechanism to assess student, faculty and staff global awareness, engagement, and understanding

Success Measures

• Conduct annual audit of campus engagement in global opportunities
• Establish system-wide Global Advisory Council
• Formalize and sustain a faculty training program on “Building Global Perspectives”
• Implement global competency assessment in all Global Perspectives courses
