The strategic plan team on doubling STEM opportunities compiled strategies and success measures to increase the number of women entering the STEM and STEM-related workforce. 

Strategies

• Identify new STEM and STEM-related programs.
• Expand the number of internal and external STEM and STEM-related service and partnership opportunities
• Enhance comprehensive exposure and career advisement for students majoring in STEM and STEM-related fields
• Increase funding to support STEM and STEM-related internships, scholarships, assistantships, and research opportunities

Success Measures

• Increase enrollment and graduation in STEM-related fields
• Facilitate, track and recognize the entry into the STEM workforce
• Increase the matriculation into graduate and professional programs in STEM and STEM-related fields
• Engage more students and faculty in STEM-related activities, service and partnerships
