Tara Zimmerman, PhD (Library and Information Studies) has been awarded an Early Career Development Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The award is part of the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program.
Zimmerman was awarded the grant for her project aimed at strengthening the role of school libraries in educating students about the dangers of online misinformation, how to detect it and avoid it.
