TWU to replace aging copiers

It’s out with the old and in with the new – copier equipment, that is.

The current Master copier lease for Konica Minolta equipment has expired, but Procurement Services has negotiated a new lease for HP multi-function copiers (copy, scan, print). The new equipment will:

  • Increase copy/print efficiencies
  • Streamline the toner ordering process
  • Save individual departments money

The new equipment will be delivered Monday, April 18, through Thursday, April 28. The Konica Minolta equipment will be removed when the new equipment is installed. Copiers with leases expiring later will not be replaced until expiration.

The ImageNet technician will help with user set-up to the new print driver for the HP equipment, and Procurement or ITS staff also will be on hand at delivery. Step-by-step instructions on how to set up the print driver to each copier will be provided when the copiers are delivered.

For those who need additional assistance, Procurement will be available via Zoom to walk you through the process April 18-29, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Training for the new equipment will be provided the week of April 25. More details will be sent via email.

The new equipment also will be enrolled in an automated supplies replenishment program that reads the supply levels in your devices and sends new toner automatically 15 days in advance of the anticipated date of depletion. You will no longer be required to order toner – it will ship to you before you run out. Only use toner in the machine that it is sent for. If used in another device, this will cause both devices to not prompt new orders as they should.
