The TWU College of Nursing will host the 2021 Doswell Nursing Informatics Conference online Friday, April 30. There is no registration fee, and the event is open to the public. Registration is due by Wednesday, April 28.
Keynote speakers include:
- Christopher Murray, director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and professor and chair of health metrics sciences at the University of Washington
- Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins and Dallas County Health Policy Director Ruby Blum
- Marisa Wilson, interim department chair for Family, Community and Health Systems, associate professor and coordinator for MSN Nursing Informatics, and director of graduate leadership pathways at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Nursing
Breakout sessions will cover clinical practice education, community-focused health care, and evidence-based decision making.
