The grassy area outside Brackenridge Hall on TWU’s Denton campus is carpeted in miniature U.S. flags in observance of the annual Never Forget Project. The TWU Student Veterans Association sponsors the project, which honors the 2,977 lives lost from terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Each flag represents a life lost during the tragic event.
