Enrollment Management recently sponsored the second annual “Destination: TWU” Bus Trip to Pioneer Preview Day for prospective students from the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas. 

More than 51 accepted prospective students and parents participated in the trip.  The students hailed from 23 different high schools and more than half were Merit and Boldly Go Scholarship recipients. 

In addition to attending Pioneer Preview Day, the students and parents had the opportunity to eat lunch with Dr. Javier Flores, VP of Enrollment Management, attend a Pioneer Basketball game, get a private tour of Parliament Village, and participate in a panel discussion with current students from RGV and Central Texas. 

The trip was coordinated by Admissions Counselors Martha Cavazos Fipps in RGV and Crysta Caulkins Clouse from Central Texas.
