Mark your calendars for upcoming events from the Division of Music.

“Beauty Broken,” a concert by the TWU Wind Symphony and University Band, will feature the winners of the 2019 and 2021 concerto competitions. The performance will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Margo Jones Performance Hall. General admission is $10; $5 for students and seniors. Children under 12 are admitted free. NOTE: This event has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The concert now will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 3, in the Margo Jones Performance Hall. All pre-purchased tickets will automatically roll over to the new date.

The TWU Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will present “Still I Rise,” a celebration of the music of Black composers, Tuesday, March 1. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Margo Jones Performance Hall. General admission is $10; $5 for students and seniors. Children under 12 are admitted free.
