Camp ABILITIES

Teacher Education is expecting record numbers for its fifth annual
New Teacher Academy,
scheduled Tuesday, July 17 in the ACT Building. The daylong workshop is designed to provide an extra measure of support for recent grads in the first three years of their teaching careers. More than 100 new teachers from throughout North Texas will attend sessions on classroom management strategies, preparing for the first week, exploring graduate school, and more. The workshop also will include panel discussions with first-year teachers and with school administrators. Questions? Contact
