Want to have a bite to eat and
help TWU researchers
at the same time? If you regularly consume mushroom and eggs and are between 18-72 years old and otherwise healthy, head over to Woodcock Hall room 113 between
10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. today
(Wednesday, Nov. 7) and 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. You could be eligible to participate in a consumer study examining the flavor palatability of mushroom-egg white blends. Participants will taste four cooked mushroom-egg white blends and complete a taste ballot. You’ll even earn $5 for your participation. Questions? Contact

The
Department of Visual Arts
will host the “Fab Five: TWU Photo Alumni on ‘Careers After Graduate School’” beginning at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Fine Arts Building West Gallery. The event will feature Kelli Connell, Carola Dreidemie, Joy Christiansen Erb, Hannah Frieser and Christine Shank in a panel discussion about the career paths they followed after receiving their graduate degrees at TWU. A short question-and-answer session will follow.

Mark your calendars for the
Festival of Lights
Thursday, Nov. 29 at Pioneer Circle. The free event begins at dusk and includes TWU theatre, music and dance, as well as refreshments and a special appearance by Santa. The
Annual Holiday Concert
will follow at 7 p.m. in the Margo Jones Performance Hall, featuring the TWU Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Jazz Ensemble and Wind Symphony. Concert tickets are $10 or general admission and $5 for students and seniors. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted free. The Festival of Lights Committee, in conjunction with the TWU NRF Student Chapter, will collect coats to be distributed to families in need.
The
TWU Department of Public Safety
and the
Office of Human Resources
have settled into their new spaces in the Oakland Complex and are inviting the TWU community to have a look! Save the date for an open house scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 at the facility, 1201 Oakland. Refreshments will be available.
