The Center for Development, Design, and Delivery (CD3) invites all interested full-time faculty to submit Scholar applications for the 2024-25 Pioneer Teaching and Learning Academy (PTLA). Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, June 3.
About PTLA
The Pioneer Teaching and Learning Academy (PTLA) provides expert peer support and a platform for advancing teaching and learning practices. It serves as a means for educators to engage in educational activities and foster growth in face-to-face (F2F), hybrid, and online teaching methods. The PTLA experience incorporates initial sessions focused on teaching development, learning theory, and innovative curriculum design. These sessions are complemented by ongoing meetings throughout the academic year. Each participant, referred to as a PTLA Scholar, will be matched with a mentor. This pairing, supported by personnel from CD3, forms a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the teaching and learning strategies of the scholars who are encouraged to share their projects with fellow educators.
