Join the national 14-Day Writing Challenge

If you’re working on a scholarly project, daily writing and group accountability can help, regardless of whether you’re in the early stages, nearing the end, or stuck in the middle.

The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) is sponsoring the Spring 14-Day Writing Challenge March 14-27. The challenge: Write for at least 30 minutes every weekday for at least two weeks. Writing refers to any scholarly activity ranging from a new idea to a completed project (article, grant proposal, exhibit, book chapter, etc).

Participants will have access to the center’s group accountability and productivity tracking software, Write Now, and track their writing and engage with others in the 14-Day Writing Challenge community.

Thanks to Texas Woman’s membership in the NCFDD, registration is free to university employees. If you haven’t claimed your free membership, you can register at the TWU NCFDD Registration Portal. You must use your twu.edu email address.

Registration ends March 9.

Contact the TWU Center for Faculty Excellence if you have questions.
