As part of TWU's ongoing efforts to enhance security, improve performance, and meet state technology requirements, Microsoft Windows 11 is becoming the new standard operating system across all university-managed PCs.

The transition is already underway in many areas—a change some of you may have already noticed. We’re sharing this update to keep everyone informed, especially faculty and staff who may be off campus during the summer months.

While Windows 10 has served us well, its end-of-life is approaching. To stay aligned with evolving technology standards and support requirements, IT Solutions is rolling out Windows 11 university-wide throughout the summer.

This update applies only to Windows devices - Mac users will not be affected. However, we want to ensure the entire TWU community is aware of this important technology update.
