Texas Woman’s University is continuing its transition to Microsoft Windows 11 across all campuses. Here’s the latest update on progress in Denton, Dallas, and Houston.

Denton Campus

• Seven departments have been upgraded to Windows 11.
• All computer labs and computer classrooms are now running Windows 11.
• Most instructor stations in lecture rooms have been upgraded.
• Full rollout is targeted for completion by Summer 2026.

Dallas Campus

• Most faculty and staff laptops and desktop PCs have been upgraded to Windows 11.
• All lab computers are now running Windows 11.
• Classroom PCs are currently in the process of being upgraded.

Houston Campus

• Faculty and staff laptops and desktop PCs have been upgraded to Windows 11.
• All lab computers are now running Windows 11.
• Classroom PCs are currently in the process of being upgraded.

Additional Information

• Mac users will not be impacted by this transition.
