TWU/AFA CyberCamp completes ninth year

This past June, TWU Department of Math and Computer Science hosted their ninth annual TWU/AFA CyberCamp, a youth training program that teaches the importance of cybersecurity and skills needed to create secure digital environments.

Twenty-eight North Texas students completed the camp. CyberCamp concludes each year with a nationwide competition hosted by the Air Force Academy, during which several TWU groups ranked highly with one group finishing first place.

TWU/AFA CyberCamp is instructed by Jian Zhang, PhD, and Jonathan Gratch, PhD, with assistant instruction by TWU student Siekleng Chhuon. CyberCamp is funded by a generous grant through the Governor's Summer Merit Program.
