While TWU continually works to protect our network and data with increasing security measures, you play a role in this fight. When you are aware of the risks, it’s easier to protect yourself from hackers, viruses and malware, both at work and in your personal life.
TWU Technology will provide sessions to help you recognize phishing attempts and suspicious emails and sites; know what to do if you’ve fallen for a scam; create and store strong, safe passwords; know why two-factor authentication is important; and understand incognito browsing, the dangers of quizzes on social media, third-party cookies and the importance of updates.
Sessions are scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29 in ASB 103 in Denton, room 6700 in Dallas and room 4115 in Houston; and at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25 in CFO 202 in Denton. Sign up for these or other sessions in Denton, Dallas and Houston today.
