Do you have old TWU printers, keyboards or other non-tagged assets taking up space in your department? IT Solutions (ITS) has a way for faculty and staff to conveniently and securely recycle those broken or outdated items.
ITS will host Computer Crusher, a local electronic waste (e-waste) recycler, to collect Texas Woman’s non-tagged assets 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in the gravel lot on the east side of the Facilities Management & Construction (FMC) building on the Denton campus. The event is open to faculty and staff who work with TWU equipment.
Accepted TWU non-tagged assets/equipment include:
- Media storage such as flash drives, hard drives, or tapes
- Monitors
- Keyboards, mice, and other peripherals
- Printers
- Audio/visual equipment
- Cables
TWU-owned tagged assets (assets that have a maroon and white sticker with tag number) will not be accepted since they must go through the surplus process before recycling. If your department has TWU tagged computers/assets ready for sanitation, contact the ITS Service Desk at (940) 898-3971.
