Do you have old TWU-provided printers, keyboards or other non-tagged assets taking up space in your department? IT Solutions (ITS) and Facilities Management & Construction (FMC) will host Computer Crusher, a Denton-area waste (e-waste) recycler, to collect non-tagged assets. The event will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the gravel lot east of the FMC building.
The event is for faculty and staff who work with TWU equipment.
Accepted items include:
- Media storage such as flash drives, hard drives or tapes
- Monitors
- Keyboards, mice, and other peripherals
- Printers
- Audio/visual equipment
- Cables
- Office fans, coffee makers, or other electronics with a plug
Visit the Cybersecurity Awareness Month webpage for drop-off procedures and additional information.
This event is for TWU non-tagged assets/equipment only. TWU-owned tagged assets (those with a maroon and white sticker with a tag number) will not be accepted since they must go through the surplus process before recycling. Contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@twu.edu if your department has TWU-tagged computers/assets to discard.
