October was another exciting month of learning, engagement, and community spirit as IT Solutions celebrated Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025!

A huge thank-you goes out to all our TWU Pioneers who participated, shared their insights, and helped make cybersecurity part of the conversation all month long.

This year’s “What Does Cybersecurity Mean to You in Six Words or Less?” campaign sparked creativity across campus! Faculty, staff, and students submitted thoughtful and often inspiring responses that showed how personal cybersecurity can be. Check out the Cybersecurity in Six Words Wall to see what your fellow Pioneers had to say about protecting what matters most.

TWU faculty, staff, and students, along with community members, recycled over 1,100 pounds of electronic waste at this year’s E-Waste Roundup event. From printers and cables to outdated office equipment, every item responsibly recycled helps reduce our environmental footprint and supports best practices in data security.

Our annual Cybersecurity Trivia Challenge brought out the competitive spirit across campus! Participants tested their knowledge of online safety, phishing prevention, and password protection. Congratulations to our trivia winners and everyone who joined the fun!
