The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) requires companies to inform the EEOC on gender, race and job level of each employee to ensure equal employment opportunity requirements are being met. Staff Council is structured so that each Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Category is represented evenly. There are eight EEO categories and Staff Council representatives for each category.
