Volunteers sought for research study on honesty

Can you tell when someone is lying?

A research study conducted through the department of psychology and philosophy is exploring the role of dispositional factors on truth-bias and judging the honesty of communication. Volunteers are sought for the study.

The research study will be conducted online and will take approximately 40 minutes. Participation will involve:

  • Completing several surveys
  • Watching video clips of people telling truth or lies
  • Making judgments about the honesty of people in the clips

Anyone age 18 or older is encouraged to participate. Participation is voluntary.

The survey may be accessed at https://www.psychdata.com/s.asp?SID=191060
