Can you tell when someone is lying?
A research study conducted through the department of psychology and philosophy is exploring the role of dispositional factors on truth-bias and judging the honesty of communication. Volunteers are sought for the study.
The research study will be conducted online and will take approximately 40 minutes. Participation will involve:
- Completing several surveys
- Watching video clips of people telling truth or lies
- Making judgments about the honesty of people in the clips
Anyone age 18 or older is encouraged to participate. Participation is voluntary.
