Due to inclement weather and university closure, deadlines for the submission of abstracts to the Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium and the nomination of students for the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholar program have been extended to Thursday, Feb. 25.
When the abstract for the symposium has been submitted through the Student Symposium Abstract System, the faculty sponsor will receive a notification email to approve the abstract. Once approved, the primary student author and faculty sponsor will receive more information and instructions to prepare the presentation. Visit the symposium website for more information.
Nominees for the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholar program should exhibit outstanding achievement in their research or creative art endeavors and must be the first author on a presentation at the Student Symposium. Final selection of these scholars will be made by the Graduate Council research committee. Visit the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholars page for a link to the nomination form and more information.
