Participants sought for study on childbirth during pandemic

Texas Woman’s faculty, staff, and students who gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic are sought for a research study, “Exploring the COVID-19 Impacts on Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Postpartum,” conducted by Social Work faculty Shamsun Nahar and Nila Ricks.

Participation involves:

  • A survey containing approximately 34 questions, to be completed online
  • A virtual in-depth interview via Zoom using a pseudonym and audio only

Total commitment is approximately 1.5 hours. Participation is confidential, privacy protected, and anonymous.

Participants should be:

  •  At least 18 years of age
  • TWU faculty, staff, or students from the Denton, Dallas, or Houston campuses who gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically between March 2020 and December 2021

Participants who complete the study will receive a $25 gift card.
