Corin Walker will serve as TWU's newest associate director for the Center for Student Involvement and will have responsibilities for increasing parent, family and community engagement. She began her new role on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Walker brings a wealth of experience to the division. She has worked at Texas Woman’s since 1992 in various positions, including admissions recruiter and most recently as the senior outreach and engagement specialist with Information Technology Services.
In addition to her administrative roles, she teaches a first-year experience course, mentors students inside and outside the classroom and can frequently be found on the sidelines or in the stands cheering on TWU student-athletes.
Throughout her career, Walker has received numerous awards and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from TWU.
