Texas Woman’s University’s SECC (State Employee Charity Campaign) kicks off in October with new and traditional events, including some old favorites.
The UnGala Kick-off is back to start things off. Rather than get dressed up and go to an event, watch the kick-off from the comfort of your own home or office. There’s no set ticket price, but if you pledge a minimum of $10, you’ll be eligible for Dining Dollar prizes good at any TWU Dining location.
Bingo and Escape Room make their return to the virtual events category and are joined this year by Win, Lose, or Draw!, based on the popular 1980s game show.
In-person events will take place with the safety of TWU Community members in mind. Social distancing and mask wearing will be strongly encouraged, and activities will be set up with as much spacing as possible.
The in-person events include:
And who could forget the Bettye Myers Challenge, continuing in memory of the beloved faculty member who began the challenge to encourage TWU participation in the campaign.
