TWU's YouTube channel showcases university

You may be familiar with TWU’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram sites, but have you checked out the university’s YouTube channel?

Sure, there are a lot of videos targeted toward current and future students, but faculty and staff do have something just for them. Many events went online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so you can watch the 2020 Fall Assembly or the Employee Town Hall if you missed them the first time or just want to see them again.

The Jamison Lecture’s Paup Lecture Series was another event that went online last year. If you missed the talk by Melba Patillo Beals, Ed.D. – journalist, author and member of the Little Rock Nine – don’t miss your chance to see the video.

The 2021 Oakleys, which recognize TWU Athletics award recipients, also took place virtually. Those and other Pioneers videos are included in the Athletics section of the channel.

TWU’s award-winning commencement and holiday videos also have a home on the university’s YouTube channel, as does the “Mack Minded” documentary focused on Pauline Beery Mack, a Texas Woman’s professor who served as a NASA principal investigator specializing in bone density research during the space race. Check out the recently updated Mack Minded website for more information on the film, including its accolades.

Be sure to subscribe to the TWU channel so you can be notified when new videos are added. It's easy to do — just go to our page and click on "Subscribe!"
