While Texas Woman’s will not be able to celebrate commencement in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the university community will recognize the accomplishments of the Class of 2020 through virtual commencement ceremonies.

Separate ceremonies have been recorded for each college and will be available for viewing anytime after 9 a.m., Friday, May 22. All ceremonies will include:

• Chancellor’s welcome and remarks
• Conferring of baccalaureate degrees
• Conferring of master’s degrees
• Conferring of doctoral degrees (excluding the College of Business)
• Alumni welcome and chancellor’s closing remarks

On each ceremony webpage, there are slides highlighting the graduates at each ceremony.

TWU has created a special Commencement 2020 website that includes:

• Links to each of the virtual ceremonies
• Messages to graduates from faculty and alumni
• Information about fun social media graphics for graduates to use to celebrate their graduation
• Stories about some of the graduates
