TWU Regents to meet Feb. 20-21 in Dallas

Regents will consider a number of naming items when the TWU Board of Regents meets Thursday and Friday, Feb. 20-21, at the TWU T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences Center in Dallas.

The Academic Affairs Committee and the Finance and Audit Committee will meet at 2 p.m. Feb. 20. The full board will meet at 9 a.m. the following day.

Items on the full board agenda include:

Motion to approve the naming of the Science and Technology Learning Center

Motion to approve the naming of two newly constructed roadways on TWU’s Denton campus

Motion to approve changing the name of the Undergraduate Laboratory Building (ULB) to the Fine Arts Annex

Motion to approve the proposed tuition and fee increases for fiscal year 2021 and fiscal year 2022 and to delegate authority to the Chancellor and President to determine the final increase amount

Recognition of service for Major General Mary Saunders

The board also will consider approval to grant new degrees: a professional science master’s in biotechnology and a bachelor in business administration in health care administration.
