October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global effort to help everyone stay safe and protected when using technology and connecting online. Texas Woman’s University is proud to be recognized by the National Cybersecurity Alliance as a Cybersecurity Awareness Month Champion for supporting and promoting this online safety and education initiative.
The cybersecurity of our faculty, staff, and students is important to Texas Woman’s University. Throughout the month of October, IT Solutions will host events and activities, including opportunities to win prizes.
TWU CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH EVENTS
Six Words - What Does Cybersecurity Mean to You?
Oct. 1-24 | Virtual event | Presented by TWU Information Security
Inspired by Six Words about Privacy at the University of Michigan and Six Words on Cybersecurity at the University of California, San Diego, Texas Woman’s University’s Cybersecurity in Six Words campaign seeks to understand how the TWU community views cybersecurity in their lives. TWU Information Security wants to know what you think about cybersecurity in six words or fewer. Responses from the campaign may be featured on a TWU Cybersecurity in Six Words Wall, as well as social media throughout the year. We hope that responses from this year’s campaign will open up conversations, raise awareness, and help us all understand how to better secure our digital lives.
Fill out the Six Words form to participate.
