Texas Woman's set to celebrate the season

Texas Woman’s is in the holiday spirit, with several events set to celebrate the season.

First up, TWU Athletics hosts its Holiday Spectacular at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4 in the Kitty Magee Arena in Pioneer Hall. The event will feature the artistic swim team, the Pioneer Pride dance team, and the stunt and gymnastics teams. Admission is free. Stay after and take a picture with Santa!

Next, a holiday tradition returns to the Denton campus with a new look.

The five divisions of TWU's School of Arts & Design – dance, fashion, music, theatre, and visual arts – are joining forces to create the Circle of Light, an art-themed festival. The free event begins at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, and is open to the public.

Finally, Chancellor Carine Feyten and Ambassador Chad Wick will host holiday celebrations on all campuses from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The Denton celebration will take place in the first-floor lobby of the Ann Stuart Science Complex. On the Dallas campus, faculty and staff will celebrate in the second-floor lobby, and the Houston campus celebration will take place in the first-floor lobby. Seasonal cookies and drinks will be available at each event.
