Texas Woman's Magazine publishes inaugural issue

The Texas Woman’s University System has a new way of sharing the stories of its faculty, students, alumni, and friends with the launch of its first magazine, Texas Woman’s Magazine.

The inaugural issue of the publication was mailed to select alumni and donors in March, and also is available in digital form.

“I am thrilled about this publication as it provides the university with a needed outlet to demonstrate Texas Woman’s phenomenal impact,” said Chancellor Carine Feyten.

The feature story of the inaugural issue focuses on the establishment of Texas Woman’s as the state’s seventh public university system and the first in the nation with a woman-focused mission. In it, the chancellor addresses the drive behind becoming a system, the potential for growth, the impact on the workforce, and more.

Profiles on students, faculty, researchers, alumni, donors and others focus on those who have left their mark on the university, and a “News Roundup” section shows what’s happening on each campus. The magazine is filled with colorful graphics that provide information and statistics about the university.

The second issue of Texas Woman’s Magazine will publish in the fall. Story ideas may be sent to
