Sponsor a family through Holiday Gift Program

The Texas Woman’s University community is known for supporting its students both in and out of the classroom. One such show of support is the TWU Holiday Gift Program, which for more than 20 years has assisted TWU student parents with financial needs by providing gifts for their children during the holiday season.

The program has grown over the years, and your help is needed now more than ever. Across all three campuses, more than 135 TWU student parents have requested aid for their families — with more than 270 children.

You can help make the holidays merry for TWU students and their children by becoming a family sponsor, either individually or as a department.

To become a sponsor, complete the brief survey and receive gift suggestions for the children. You will be notified of your sponsored family’s wish list by Nov. 15.

If you don’t have time to shop or would prefer to avoid crowds, you can make a monetary donation to the program.

Unwrapped gifts should be delivered before Wednesday, Dec. 2:

  • Gifts for on-campus families should be delivered to the Lowry Woods Community Center.
  • For off-campus families, deliver your gifts to the CARE Office, room 209 in Brackenridge Hall.
  • Dallas campus sponsors will be contacted directly regarding Dallas locations.

Along with your unwrapped gifts, donations of wrapping paper or gift bags with tissue paper would be appreciated.
