Thanks to suggestions provided by TWU faculty and staff for past commencements, Academic Affairs and Marketing &Communication have gathered stories about students that were included in the ceremonies as well as in feature stories about specific graduates. These stories are used to promote the university and the ceremonies themselves in the media, on the Texas Woman’s website, and through social media.

Stories are now sought for the December 2022 commencement. If you have a wonderful story to share about a December graduate — accomplishments, success despite obstacles, connection to our strategic plan (e.g., veterans), etc. — email twunews@twu.edu with the student’s name, email address, and a sentence or two about what makes this student stand out. Nominations are needed by Friday, Oct. 28.

Marketing & Communication will review the information submitted and will contact those graduates to be featured. You do not need to contact the student ahead of time.
