Texas Woman’s is starting a phone campaign to reach out to newly accepted students.

“As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we want our newly accepted students to know that TWU is here and ready to engage with the newest members of our Pioneer Family,” Monica Mendez-Grant, vice president for student life, wrote in an April 21 email to the university.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to make personalized phone calls to each admitted first-year, transfer and graduate student. In addition to making a connection, a phone call also enables members of the TWU community to answer any questions the students may have.

Those participating in the phone campaign will be asked to make phone calls in the next two weeks. Scripts will be provided.
