Feedback from business stakeholders and super users has led to a change in the Go-Live date of the first phase of the university’s Oracle Cloud implementation.

The phase 1 Go-Live date now is Nov. 1.

Why The Change?

While great progress has been made overall, the team is extending the timeline to allow for even more time to ensure that all the features are optimized and provide additional time for validation, end user training, user readiness testing and awareness efforts.

This decision further underlies the commitment to the quality of work that is delivered to you, our end users. Taking the extra time will lead to a more seamless Go-Live and help ensure that we reap the full benefits of the implementation. 

What You Can Expect (within 3 weeks)

• Updated Operational and Year End Cutoff Dates 
• Modified Project Timeline with revised key milestone dates 
• Updated User Readiness Testing and Training Timelines
• Updated University-wide Awareness Plan
