One down, six to go: Commencement ceremonies continue

The spring 2022 Houston Commencement is in the books. Photos from the ceremony, held Sunday, May 8, at The Woodlands Marriot, are posted on the Houston Ceremony website. To watch a recording of the ceremony, visit the Commencement Live Video Stream page and click on the box in the upper right-hand corner of the livestream window. Find “TWU Commencement Houston 2022” in the drop-down and click to watch the video.

Denton Commencement ceremonies, which include graduates from the Denton and Dallas campuses, are scheduled Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14. See the schedule on the Registrar’s Graduation and Commencement site. The Denton ceremonies will be available via livestream on that page as well.

As families of graduating students attend the ceremonies, Texas Woman’s wants to extend a warm welcome and make their visit to campus as pleasant as possible. Faculty and staff are encouraged to park on the south side of campus, including in the parking garage, Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, to allow visitors to park closer to Pioneer Hall. Temporary garage permits will not be required and decal parking will not be enforced on those two days.

The commencement parking map shows the university’s plan for parking during commencement. Lots designated for commencement are shown in gold, with faculty/staff parking in purple. Note that Bell Avenue in front of Pioneer Hall will be closed to vehicular traffic those two days.

Be sure to check out TWU’s commencement website, if you haven’t already. In addition to all the information you’ll need for the ceremonies, we’ve highlighted some of our graduating students.
