Texas Woman’s University officially opened the long-awaited Dining Hall on Oct. 28. Grand opening festivities included free cupcakes and prizes.
“We are very excited about the opening of the Dining Hall,” said Jill Eckardt, TWU’s director of housing and dining. “Being able to offer high quality dining options in a setting that features multiple food stations and outdoor, patio seating is something that we have not had before.”
The 26,000 sq. ft. dining hall replaces the Underground as the university’s primary dining facility for residential students in Denton and is a continuation of the university’s public-private partnership project.
The Denton Record-Chronicle published a full story with photos about the new facility.

The TWU community can enjoy specialty baked goods in the new TWU Dining Hall on the Denton campus.
