Fit & Rec plans Yosemite trip for faculty, staff

If outdoor adventure is calling your name, have we got a deal for you!

For the first time ever, TWU’s Fitness and Recreation Department has planned an epic trip exclusively for faculty and staff to Yosemite National Park, May 13-16.

Adventurers will spend three days in beautiful California, exploring the sights and relaxing in the mountains.

Trip cost is $750 per person and includes airfare, transportation, lodging (hotel or cabin), excursions and park entrance. A deposit of $150 is due by March 2. TWU employees may also register one (1) guest. A total of 10 slots are available, and only six slots remain.

When asked why this opportunity was offered to faculty and staff, Michael Wilson, outdoor adventurer coordinator, said they thought faculty and staff needed a trip that matched their hard work.

“We really want to make this first trip a big one,” said Wilson. “We want it to be one of those exceptionally memorable experiences. Yosemite is one of those places that can make a difference in someone’s life, and we want to help our faculty and staff have access to that kind of experience.”

This opportunity is available to faculty and staff on all three campuses. For questions, payment options and additional information, contact Michael Wilson at MWilson22@twu.edu or 81-2940.
