Texas Woman’s students have faced unprecedented financial issues, and the university has established additional allowances to assist with recruitment and retention.
To help ease the challenges students will face in the coming weeks, the TWU Office of Financial Aid has worked with the Division of Student Life to create a phone bank to help answer financial aid questions within the community. More than 1,200 calls have been received during its first 21 days in operation.
The phone bank is staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling the Financial Aid office.
The Office of Financial Aid, with guidance from the U.S. Department of Education, is working to address questions and concerns of TWU students and has created an FAQ in order to answer some of the most frequently asked questions identified thus far and reduce wait times.
The Financial Aid office will continue to work with students during this summer.
