Juliet Spencer, PhD, has agreed to serve as Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Spencer, who is a Professor of Biology and Director of the School of the Sciences, brings a goal-oriented, evidence-based, community-building approach to leadership. TWU will be conducting a national search to permanently fill the position during this academic year. More details on the search will be forthcoming.

Spencer succeeds Abigail Tilton, PhD, who will return to faculty in January 2025. A celebration of Tilton’s leadership contributions to TWU is being planned, so stay tuned for further details.

Additionally, Nasrin Mirsaleh-Kohan, PhD, has graciously agreed to serve as Interim Director of the School of the Sciences. Mirsaleh-Kohan is currently the Division Head of Chemistry and Biochemistry and an associate professor of physics.
