Texas Woman’s University continues to celebrate its first-place finish in the AORE Campus Challenge. The Denton campus held a celebration on Nov. 5, with T-shirts, door prizes, and special awards for faculty/staff who went above and beyond in the competition. Fitness and Recreation and the Health and Wellbeing Initiative presented awards to:
- Ruth Johnson (Graduate School), Inspiration Award
- Sarah Matteson (CARE), Most Dedicated Award
- Grace Chalon (institutional research & improvement), Greater Good: Health and Wellbeing Advocate
- Suzi Rumohr (library) and Tesse Scott (occupational therapy, Denton) Greater Good: Environmental Advocate
- Sarah Wainscott (communication sciences & oral health) and Rob Petro (chemistry & biochemistry), Academic Champion
- Susan Whitmer (library), Spirit Award
- Terry Collins (DPS), Guardian of the Outdoors Award
