Boomer, a French bulldog, loves to work with his pet parent Amy Evans (student life). If you’d like a chance to see your precious pooch in a future “Bring Your Dog to Work Day” story, see below for guidelines.

'Bring Your Dog to Work Day' scheduled Oct. 30

Friday, Oct. 30, is the first “special occasion” day of the fall semester when dogs are allowed at work. If you want to bring your dog to the office, check first with your immediate supervisor — any decision to allow a pet to come to the office (or not) will be made by your immediate supervisor. See the official Pets at Work policy for more duties and responsibilities.

If you’d like a chance to see your cute canine featured in a future “Bring Your Dog to Work Day” story, send us a photo! Many of us are still working from home, but don’t let that stop you from sending a photo — take one in your home office, or even one of Fido on a work break. All photos are welcome!

Here are the guidelines:

  • Photos should be of the dog(s) only
  • Photos should be sized no smaller than 600px by 400px, or roughly 4in x 6in
  • Horizontal photos are preferred
  • Provide the dog’s name as well as your own; both dog and pet parent will be identified

One photo will be chosen at random for each “Bring Your Dog to Work Day” story. Send photos to twunews@twu.edu.
