The annual Boo at the U fall festival is back and just two weeks away. Organizers need volunteers and candy to help make it a memorable night for Denton-area children and their families.
The event takes place 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21. It’s a hauntingly fun time for the Denton community with a host of activities including Trunk or Treating, train rides, inflatable attractions, carnival games, music, a performance from the TWU Dance Team and more.
To contribute candy to the event, drop it off at the information desk in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 940-898-3641. Also email if you or your department are interested in volunteering for the event.
The Student Union is once again partnering with the social work department to collect non-perishable food items at the event for the TWU Food Pantry. Check the Food Pantry website for a list of needed items.
This year, Boo at the U will be completely outdoors and, in the case of inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for Oct. 28.
