'Boo at the U' brings spooky good fun to Denton

The Boo is back! TWU’s annual “Boo at the U” brings participants from the Denton community to enjoy train rides, carnival games – trick or treating, of course – and much, much more.

This year’s event takes place 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, at Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. Learn more about Boo at the U events.

Admission to the event is free, but attendees are encouraged to donate items to support Minerva’s Market. The TWU food pantry is intended to fill the gap for students experiencing food insecurity. Food items such as breakfast cereal, canned goods (meat, fruits, soups, etc.), snacks, etc., are needed, as are hygiene items such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, and more.

What you need to know about parking: Administration Drive and Chapel Drive will close at 5 p.m. prior to the Oct. 19 event. Also, note that parking spaces on Chapel Drive will not be available all day to allow vendors to set up for the event.
