The TWU Board of Regents will meet Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20, in room 3620 in the Texas Woman’s University T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center. The meeting also will be available via livestream.

Meetings of the Academic Affairs Committee and the Finance and Audit Committee will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19. The full board meeting will begin at 9 a.m., Friday, May 20.

Items on the agenda include:

• Recommend approval of faculty for promotion and tenure
• Recommend approval of infrastructure construction on the Texas Woman’s University System’s Denton campus
• Recommend approval of Administrative Conference Tower 1 foundation repair revised budget
• Recognition of service of student regent and student regent report on service
• National recognition of TWU student newspaper, The Lasso
• Recommend approval of reaffirmation of the mission statement for Texas Woman’s University
• Recommend approval of the continuation of the chancellor’s contract
