TWU cohort attends teaching conference

To support faculty interested in integrating Transformative Learning approaches into their teaching, the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and the Office of Faculty Success provided funding for a group of TWU faculty members to attend the Transformative Learning Conference, held March 29-31 in Oklahoma City.

The conference preceded the launch of a new Transformative Educator Program offered through the CFE in collaboration with the University of Central Oklahoma and Qedex.org that has a total of 26 faculty members from all three TWU campuses enrolled.

The conference cohort included Tracy McManaman-Bridges, EdD (Nursing, Houston), Mahesh Raisinghani, PhD (Business, Denton), Lin Moore, PhD (Literacy & Learning, Denton), Niki Fogg  (Nursing, Denton), Carin Adams, PhD (Nursing, Denton), Shelby Rivers, PhD (Psychology, Denton), Teresa Sparks, PhD, JD (Nursing, Houston), Jennifer Wilson, DNP (Nursing, Dallas), Dayton Kinney, PhD, and Jörg Waltje, PhD (both CFE).
